8.75 (very good) | For me, Xam'd started on a strong note, however towards the middle and end of the series, my opinion of it slowly declined. The plot seemed to turn in a different direction than I was initially thinking it would. My complaint is that not enough time was focused on Akiyuki and the process of him going through his transformation from human to Xam'd and also from his past and present self. | ||

8.50 (very good) | I never saw the original Casshern series, so I started watching this series with a blank slate. After watching a few episodes, I fell in love with the series. It starts off, and honestly, ends somewhat slow, but throughout the story you really get a feel for just how much Casshern and the world is suffering. | ||

8.25 (good) | Bakemonogatari is another of Shaft's quirky series that I can't seem to get enough of. The cast of characters are likable, and they each have different and interesting back stories as to how they came to be. One of my favorite aspects about this series is the smooth animation and the unique angles the shots decide to take. | ||

8.25 (good) | Chi is the embodiment of all things adorable and innocent. This series is a great refresher from your usual anime. I love the fact that episodes are only around 3 minutes long and focus on an adorable, little kitten! This show is really innocence at it's cutest! | ||

8.00 (good) | Canaan is a great series. I really enjoyed the conflicting scenes between Canaan and Alphard. There were also quite a few comedic scenes throughout the series, which really helped to lighten the mood when the series took a turn down a dark plot path. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good action series. | ||
